I've been doing some work in a tiny heritage village, which is perched on the southern tip of the island.
The wind never stops blowing, but it is rather picturesque.

I spent my childhood years here, in Silverdale Glen.

I've been home for 9 weeks. Last week I was convinced that it had only been 6 weeks, completely in denial of how many days have passed since I left Australia.
Most mornings I walk through Silverdale Glen. It comforts me, but with every step I remember walking along Australian beaches and my heart aches.

During my time at 19 Karen Contemporary Artspace on the Gold Coast, I worked with a darling girl called Stacey. Sweetheart that she is, she has featured an interview about my arts practice on her blog! Thank you Stacey ~ Call Me Honey Bunny...
