I'm glazing for possibly the last firing of the year. As much as I want to produce more work, I think I need to accept that it won't happen before the end of the year. A lot of these pots are relatively old - I made them back in July and abandoned them after a bisque firing because NOTHING matched. But they are good quality pots! So I reclaimed and feathered them :)
A few more of my slipcast birdies will go in this firing too.
I want to make this one into a pendant, hence the hole in his head...
More creative folk will be at
Kootoyoo today!
I do love seeing photographs of your work in progress. So fab to see the before and after shots. It's all so gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteI just checked out your last few posts and I can't believe how beautifully you can draw birds. This little guy for a pendant is sweet.
ReplyDeleteLovely birdie!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful works in progress and now even sketches too! I love it all and it really helps to illustrate the idea, development, etc which gets so overlooked by people looking at the finished products...you're very talented!! I hope college is going better, xoKate
