oops

So that Keraflex lantern that I made a couple of weeks ago...it didn't fired quite how I had hoped.
We knew it would slump, but had no idea it would go this much.
On the bright side, I know that Duncan EZ Strokes look great on Keraflex!!

    It makes a nice abstract sculpture! You must have been devastated. Or do you get past that if you are dealing with the kiln all the time?

    I'm learning not to get too attached to my work now, I've had plenty of pieces that have been ruined in various ways during the firing and I accept now that its just part of the art form. And it kinda adds a level of excitement to it too, as we're always thinking, will it work???
